This scan is typically performed from 20-40 weeks and is a great opportunity to:
- Bond with your baby - see their face and movements

What You'll See at 22 Weeks
At 22 weeks, your baby is about the size of a papaya and weighs around 430g. You can see:
- Detailed facial features
- Fingers and toes
- Baby practising breathing movements
- Lots of active movement - kicks, stretches, and rolls
Baby at 22 Weeks
Your baby at this stage:
- Can hear sounds from outside the womb
- Has developing taste buds
- Is covered in fine hair called lanugo
- Has fingerprints forming
