Overview:
Babycheck offer high-quality fetal ultrasound, using the most up-to-date equipment, with early dating scans starting at €125.
Parents can purchase money-saving scan packages to take them though their whole pregnancy. For example, a first trimester scan, fetal anomaly and gender scan in the second trimester and 3D/4D scan in the third trimester cost €550 together, representing a saving of €80.

Merrion Fetal Health
Overview:
Merrion Fetal Health is a consultant-led service which aims to be a centre of excellence in prenatal scanning. It is located in the National Maternity Hospital, but is open to anyone who wishes to use its services. It can refer patients into the maternity hospital’s care if they wish.
As well as standard scanning services (starting at €95 for an early pregnancy scan), they also offer the Harmony non-invasive prenatal tests (for Down syndrome and other chromosomal conditions). Third and subsequent scans receive a loyalty discount of €30.
Their website includes a useful pregnancy diary that keeps track of your baby’s progress, and offers advice on diet for optimal fetal health.
