True or False? Unborn babies can taste the foods their mothers eat.

This is True:

Studies suggest that taste buds develop around 9 weeks after conception although it is not until approximately 28 weeks that your baby can taste what you’re eating. At this stage, your baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and can taste flavours from your meals, especially if you are consuming curry powder or garlic which are known to be strong enough to altar the odour and taste of amniotic fluid. According to a study at Philadelphia’s Monell Chemical Senses Centre, what you eat while expecting may also impact what your baby’s taste preferences are after birth.

Now that’s an interesting fact!
